Call for Support: Struggling Donkeys and Women Fetching Water – Malambo Village, Ngorongoro

In Malambo Village, located in the Ngorongoro District, access to clean water remains a daily struggle for the local community. Every day, women and children walk more than 20 kilometers to fetch water, carrying heavy jerrycans, often assisted by numerous donkeys, tirelessly swaying under the scorching sun. These donkeys, burdened alongside the women, are an enduring part of daily life, highlighting both the resilience and the hardships of this community.

This lack of access to clean water affects health, prevents children from attending school, and limits women’s participation in community development activities. Long distances and unsafe water increase the risk of disease and hinder sustainable community growth.

We invite development partners, organizations, and compassionate donors to join us in bringing a lasting solution:

Construction of safe and sustainable water wells in Malambo Village.

Installation of accessible water distribution systems for women, children, and donkeys alike.

Hygiene and health education for the entire community.

Your support can transform lives, reduce the daily burden on women, protect community health, and open educational opportunities for children. Every donor has the power to bring hope and lasting change.

Together, we can ensure that Malambo Village is no longer a symbol of hardship, but a beacon of development and hope.
