ANNA BAYO

Helping Elders and Disabled Organization (HEDO) is committed to uplifting older persons, children, and people with disabilities—especially those living in remote and underserved communities. Before providing Anna with a wheelchair, we wish to emphasize that this initiative aligns directly with our core mission: restoring dignity, access, and hope to vulnerable individuals who have been left behind.

About Anna Bayo
Anna Bayo is a 17-year-old girl from Baray, Karatu. She was born healthy, but at the age of 10 her legs began to weaken. Due to severe poverty and the family’s remote living conditions, she was never taken to the hospital for proper diagnosis or treatment. As a result, Anna has spent more than seven years confined indoors, without medical attention, mobility support, or specialized care.

During our visit, we witnessed both the hardship she faces and the incredible strength she carries. Anna is bright, warm, and hopeful—but she cannot walk, attend school, or even reach a health facility without support. She urgently needs a wheelchair, medical assessments, and follow-up treatment.

Support Needed
HEDO kindly appeals to well-wishers, partners, and friends to join hands in supporting Anna.
Your contribution—whether $1, $5, $10, $20 or more—will directly help in:

Providing a wheelchair

Covering medical tests and consultations

Supporting treatment and rehabilitation

Every dollar brings Anna closer to comfort, mobility, and the opportunity to live with dignity.

HEDO believes that when we transform one life, we uplift an entire community.
